LG Announced Shipping of V10 to International Markets, Features Dual Front Camera, Snapdragon 808 & 4 GB of RAM
It's official. LG has announced that it is now ready to let people experience its latest high-end smartphone dubbed as the V10. According to Phone Arena, the South Korean tech company will start shipping the device to key markets across the globe. The first ones to receive it include the U.S., Hong Kong and China. Other nations, including Canada, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and other Asian markets, will get theirs later this quarter.
At the moment, network carrier AT&T is now accepting pre-orders for the V10 but it will not be available before its launch date which will be on Nov. 6. T-Mobile, on the other hand, has already started selling the phone in its stores. The source mentioned that Verizon will also be carrying it soon.
Many are really looking forward to getting their hands on the new device as it is actually a different take from the typical Android smartphones available in the market. For starters, the LG V10 features a second screen and dual front-facing cameras.
Android Headlines detailed that the secondary display is a 2.1-inch IPS Quantum display found at the top of the main display. It functions to showcase things such as notifications, calendar info, time, weather data, contacts and other more, making it easier to access what is essential to the user.
The other notable feature are the dual front-facing camera sensors with one sporting 120 degrees lens for wide angle selfie shots and the other one with the standard 80 degree lens. Users who are fond of taking front-facing photos will really be enticed with this new feature.
Its other specifications according to iDigital Times include a 5.7-inch Quad HD main display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and 4 GB of RAM. It also comes with 64 GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card slot up to 2 TB. At the back is a 16-megapixel camera with a fingerprint scanner below which can be used to unlock the device.
AT&T is selling the LG V10 for $700 while T-Mobile will have a full retail price of $600.
