This could mean that the device will be fully bendable unlike the original that only comes slightly curved and cannot be budge out of its existing frame.

The LG G Flex launched back in November of last year and was one of the more low-key innovative handsets to be released in 2013.

It features a 6-inch 720p display, a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 3500mAh battery. It also comes with a button on the back instead of on the side. The backing on it is made from a "special protective film" has the ability to repair itself just minutes after it is scratched.

The G Flex does not feature any special software that caters to the Flex display. However, it does come with tilting wallpaper and different unlocking effects when the screen is touched in different places.

The device's main appeal is that it provides a better experience for watching video. Users also have the ability to turn on multimedia apps directly from the lock screen, and have better ergonomics for phone calls.

The original model really failed to woo crowds, however, it did make a notable appearance in the latest Godzilla film. The new version should at least be able to actually flex.
