LG G3 Specs to Include New Concierge Widget, Feature Seen in Screenshots
The LG G3 will feature a new Concierge service that will help make the device more easily accessible.
Recently leaked screenshots display this new feature in the form of a widget. It will give users information in the same way that an actual concierge does at a hotel. In the picture it displays the temperature, time and a bit of advice for the user.
"You may want to take an umbrella, since rain is expected during this afternoon," reads the message.
The specs for the upcoming LG G3 that leaked in a Sprint User Agent Profile have been updated.
The device's RAM has been dropped to 2GB from 3GB which makes it the same as the LG G2. The camera modules have received a bump in resolution as the profile now shows that the handset will come with a 16-megapixel rear camera with a 2.4 front-facing sensor.
The software number has also been changed to LS990ZV1, but it will still most likely run Android 4.4.2.
A Sprint user agent profile appeared last week and revealed what could have been the actual specifications for the upcoming LG G3. One of the most impressive things about this list is that it reveals that the G3 will be one of the first smartphones to come with a qHD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. This aspect still appears on the UA profile after the update.
Other specs found on the original list include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a quad-core Krait 400 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB, a rear-facing 13-megapixel camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 4.4.2, KitKat, LTE connectivity and Wi-Fi connectivity.
