LG G4 Pro/Note release date & rumored specs: To be released this October?
LG has been long rumored to launch a new flagship smartphone. But until now, the company is quiet about it. Fans can only hold on to leaked details to know more about the device dubbed as LG G4 Pro or G4 Note.
Prior to the announcement of LG G4 in April, rumors about the note-sized LG G4 Pro were already surfacing. It was even said to come with a built-in stylus to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. But even after the release of LG G4, its bigger version was still nowhere to be found.
However, according to Gotta Be Mobile, TENAA (the Chinese equivalent of the FCC) published photos of an unidentified smartphone that several are dubbing as the new LG G4 Note. Listed as the LG-H968, the specs of the device is kept under wraps although there are leaked details saying that it will come with a 5.8-inch and 2560x1440 Quad-HD "Quantum Display," 32-64GB of storage, a micro-SD slot which could accommodate up to 128GB of additional storage space and possibly a fingerprint scanner.
It will also be powered by the 8-core Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM and will sport a 27-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel wide-angle front camera. Its OS may be Android 5.1 or Android M, depending on when it will be released.
Android Headlines noted that the upcoming handset could come with a removable battery and will have a plastic build just like the current flagship of the company, the G4. In the leaked image, it shows that the G4 Note stylus will slide out from the top portion of the device, which is opposite to Note 5 that slides out from the bottom of the phablet. But between the two, Yibada stated that the S Note 5 stylus is far superior to the G4 Note because of "five generations of rigid evolution."
Nevertheless, LG's phablet is expected to be packed with great specs and features. LG G4 Pro is rumored to be released this coming October.
