LG Optimus G Pro Release Date Coming Q2 in North America
The Optimus G Pro release date will be in the second quarter of 2013 for customers in North America.
The device was recently announced by LG in South Korea .Shortly after it was unveiled, word quickly spread that it would be hitting both Japan and North America in Q2.
The Optimus G Pro will officially be available to customers next week in Korea.

The official specifications for the new LG handset include a 1080p 5.5-inch display, a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1, JellyBean, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The display boasts a 1920 x 1080 pixels and 400 ppi.
LG is expected to show off the Optimus Pro G at next week's Mobile World Congress set to take place in Barcelona.
The device also features a few new software tweaks that include a dual record that uses both cameras simultaneously and VR Panorama that appears to be similar to Google's Photo Sphere. It will come with other features called Q Slide that allows users to view two screens at once, LiveZooming which helps zoom in on phone features up to 5 times the normal size along with the ability to create 360 panoramas.
The Optimus G Pro appears to be LG's answer to the wildly popular Samsung Galaxy Note and Note 2. However, LG seems to have delivered a superior device in terms of specs. The phablet was originally expected to launch sometime in January, but now is confirmed for release in Korea this month. The Optimus G Pro should start rolling out in Japan and other nations in April.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to feature similar specs such as a 13-megapixel camera and 2GB RAM. However, its display will be a bit smaller.
