LG V10 News: Gamers who Preorder Can Enjoy Major Freebies
Consumers who would like to be the first to get their hands on the dual screen LG V10 may now place their preorders through two major U.S. carriers, namely AT&T and T-Mobile. T-Mobile is making the phone available starting October 28, while AT&T will make it available starting November 6. Both carriers, however, are offering the same limited deal that gives the buyer a 200 GB microSD card, an extra battery and a cradle for charging for each preorder, according to a report in Tech Times.
This is part of the Korean company's marketing campaign for their newest flagship, which is the company's first smartphone to have two screens.
If buyers choose to get from T-Mobile, they will be able to get the device for $600 or for $0 downpayment but with a $25 monthly payment for a two-year contract. AT&T has it available for a one-time payment of $700 or $250 with a two-year plan. Next install plans may also be availed by AT&T customers, which is offered at $23.34 monthly for Next 24, $29.17 monthly for Next 18 and $35 monthly for Next 12.
One other U.S. carrier, Verizon, is expected to offer the same freebies with the LG V10 but it is not yet known when they will start accepting preorders.
The LG V10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. A microSD card can expand internal storage to up to 200 GB, thus the freebie. The device's main camera is a 16 megapixel shooter, while its selfie camera is 5 megapixels. Its battery is a 3,000 mAh battery pack.
For its main display, the device has a 5.7 inch Quad HD screen. The secondary 2.1 inch screen is located on the top part of the device's front and has a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. This screen can be configured to be "always on" and keeps the user updated with notifications.
The device comes pre-installed with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is eligible for an upgrade to Android Marshmallow.
