As Brian and Rebecca investigate deeper into the case, it throws up shocking details about Naz's past. In the previous episode which was a homage to the iconic movie, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," Brian leads Mike and Ike into believing that he's sick. But soon, things go dark as Brian is kidnapped and forced to work with the CIA on a secret mission. He is in trouble as he learns that the ops team now plans to kill their target. It was later revealed that the CIA kidnapped Brian to be able to utilize his abilities for this secret ops mission.

"Limitless" has been consistently getting good ratings and has officially joined the list of the freshman TV series to receive a full-season order. According to Variety, "Limitless" now stands at a full season with this 22-episode order.

In the Variety article, Glenn Geller, president of CBS Entertainment said, "We're excited how 'Limitless' continues to evolve creatively each week and stand out with its unique style of storytelling." He adds, "It's off to a strong start in a highly competitive environment."

"Limitless" has lots to draw upon from the movie, "Limitless," on which it is based. Bradley Cooper was the original "Brian" in the movie. Back then, he was Eddie Morra, a writer. Cooper has also made an appearance in the TV series in the earlier episodes but he is now Senator Ed Morra. The senator had given Brian (the TV character) the antidote that makes him immune to the side effects of the drug.

Viewers are speculating that Cooper will once again make an appearance as the senator and will again give Brian a hand.

Episode 8 of "Limitless" will air on Nov. 10 on CBS.
