'Limitless' Season 1 Episode 12 Spoilers: What to Expect When 'Limitless' Returns Next Year?

The midseason finale of "Limitless" was definitely an exciting episode to watch, which ended with a major cliff-hanger when Agent Spelman Boyle (Hill Harper) did not surrender the loose NZT pill he found lying under his desk. With a twist like that, many fans wonder what else they can expect once the show returns next year after its long hiatus.

According to Design & Trend, the next episode does not look good for Senator Morra (Bradley Cooper) since an assassin was hired to kill him, and Brian (Jake McDorman) will try his best to cover up the connection between him, the Senator, and the NZT drug. The website also said that many viewers wonder if the senator will do something to Brian, who revealed the truth about the NZT to his dad (Ron Rifkin). This is if Senator Morra can do some harm to Brian before something bad happens to him in the upcoming episode, which is aptly titled "The Assassination of Eddie Morra."

Another plot that fans wish to happen is for Brian and Agent Rebecca Harris (Jennifer Carpenter) to become romantically involved. Now that Casey Rooks (Desmond Harrington), Rebecca's boyfriend, died in the midseason finale, viewers are curious if any romance will develop between the two colleagues.
