Lindsay Lohan Game News: Releases Hollywood Simulator Mobile Game 'The Price of Fame'
Lindsay Lohan is immersing herself in the world of gaming with the release of her new mobile game "The Price of Fame," which features the life and trials of a famous celebrity dealing with hair, clothes, fans, scandals and more.
"The Price of Fame" was released earlier in the week for free in Android and iOS devices and was created in collaboration with Space Inch, whose lead programmer is guitarist Andy Ross from the band OK Go.
In the game, the player stars as Lohan's protégé who is trying to become a famous celebrity. To achieve fame, the player has to gain as many fans as possible and generate interest from the game's paparazzi.
"There's a LOT OF DRAMA along the way" as the player seeks fame, according to the game's description in Google Play Store.
First, the player needs to get fans, up to trillions if possible, and then build their celebrity persona with the help of costumes and accessories, such as a see-through dress, space helmet, gold mask, a pet tiger, a pink Mohawk and babies, or even put everybody underwater if you want. You can start a phony rap beef, punch a paparazzi, get butt implants, give your own baby a botox and manage a team of lawyers to get you out of any trouble you cause.
In short, anything is possible in the game because "you are the celebrity, you decide how crazy things will get."
However, the only thing that's actually needed to play the game is to keep on swiping the screen.
The game doesn't come with events to attend and organize, missions to perform, energy meters or cash notifications, and the player's look has little to do with the game. The game's main goal is to gain a lot of fans, which serves as the currency of the game, because with fans, you can perform publicity stunts, invest in an entourage of your own and more.
To get more fans, all the players need to do is swipe or flicking at the screen again and again, and the more times and the faster you swipe, the more fans you get, which is not quite the game of stardom that fans might expect.
