Lindsey Graham Endorses Ted Cruz; Still Unsure If Republicans Can Win The 2016 Presidential Race
A mind-boggling development just happened last week in the side of the Republican party for the 2016 Presidential race. Just last week, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced his support to his colleague in the GOP, Ted Cruz.
"I'm going to help Ted in every way I can," Graham told CNN in an interview. In fact, he will be spearheading a fundraiser project for the leading GOP candidate.
Graham, however, admitted to the publication that his change of heart is just a matter of choosing the lesser evil. Apparently, for the 60-year-old, the Texas senator is "the best alternative to Donald Trump."

The press was quick to point out the sudden 360 degree change of the politician who, not so long ago, poked on the senator's lack of popularity by saying that if "you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you."
However, new developments emerge indicating that the senator is still quite apprehensive on the notion that Cruz will be the "best president."
"I think Ted would make it a competitive race," said Graham, in an interview with MSNBC. He added that Cruz "would make a better president than Donald Trump, for damn sure, and I think he'd take the country in a new direction other than (Hillary) Clinton. Would he make the best president? No, I don't think so."
Rawstory.com meanwhile cited Graham's separate interview with the news outlet where he said that the GOP could probably lose 2016 "and probably will" against the Democrat's strong woman, Hillary Clinton.
Will Ted be able to beat the former first wife? Perhaps, but he's quite sure the party "have got a fighting chance" in the senator.
On his thoughts about Trump, Graham reiterated that it won't just be about losing the 2016 race. It would also be about "losing the heart and soul of the conservative movement."
