Lisa Lampanelli and 'Celebrity Apprentice': She's Too Old to Be Rude, Says Mendoza
Former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza has spoken out about her experience on Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" and taken one final hit at comedian Lisa Lampanelli after a season full of drama between the two.
While it was projected that Lampanelli would not likely get along with many of the contestants in "Celebrity Apprecntice," she seemed to hold a special grudge for former Miss Universe. During an interview with Access Hollywood in February, Donald Trump commented on the strange dynamic between the two.
"We have an interesting combination. You have Lisa Lampanelli … first of all she's a great character and a great person, but she's nasty and she's got that mouth that you two know about," Trump responded to Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

Trump also commented on how Lampanelli was after fellow contestant Miss Universe Dayana, Mendoza.
"Why she doesn't like her? That's a long story, but she doesn't like her and those two go at it and actually, it's amazing to see it," Trump commented.
However, before Mendoza left the show after being eliminated, she and Lampanelli shared an unexpected hug.
"It was a weird thing to do," Mendoza admitted to the Huffington Post, who questioned what the model thought of Lampanelli calling her a good person. "Well, she has been someone who expresses how much her mood changes and how quickly. So I think that was just another mood change she had."
Elaborating on her comments, Mendoza then went on to charge that Lampanelli had a very volatile personality, and inadvertently suggested that it was oddly placed, given the comedienne's age.
"Being on ["The Celebrity Apprentice"] was an interesting job for me- I've never worked with somebody that was so volatile," Mendoza said of Lampanelli. "And you know, she could be my mom! Like, I was actually surprised that she behaved that way."
The model also stated that she had no idea why Lampanelli had behaved the way she did.
