'Little People, Big World' News: Jeremy, Audrey Open Up About Parenting Journey

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff of "Little People, Big World" recently talked about how their new baby girl has changed their lives. Last Sept. 10, Audrey gave birth to their daughter Ember Jean.

Opening up about parenthood, Jeremy and Audrey admitted that they're both a bit nervous about the idea of raising a daughter. While Audrey has been busy trying to balance life as a mom, wife, friend, and celebrity, Jeremy has been spending his time thinking about the best ways to discipline their child when the time comes. Jeremy said just contemplating on it keeps him up at night.

"For me, specifically, just parenting in the sense of discipline when they start getting older and that just makes me nervous because you can do it really, really right and you can also do it really, really wrong," he said. The couple also revealed that their parents had different parenting styles raising them, so it will be a challenge balancing act between Audrey's strict upbringing and Jeremy's more lenient childhood.

Since both are first time parents, the two have been seeking the help of their friends when it comes to their daughter. However, the new mom and dad said that although they rely on their friends for advice, they understand very well that they are the ones who have the last say when it comes to Ember.

The couple revealed that as time passes by, their confidence when it comes to parenting continues to grow. Jeremy and Audrey also said that they're already learning to trust their guts and to be more confident with their decisions as their daughter's parents.

"I feel like we feel confident in it. I think we're ready for this journey, but are we prepared? No, I don't think you can be prepared. Similarly to marriage, you just do it and it happens and then you kind of catch up to it," said Jeremy.
