'Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time' News: Demo Due Out in Japan This November
Still unclear if there will also be a demo made available to fans in the west
"Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time," a game that will feature many of the popular characters included in the "Little Witch Academia" anime series, is due out in Japan later this year, and fans in that part of the world will have a chance to play it even before it hits stores.
As developers announced during the Tokyo Game Show, a demo for the game is going to be released in Japan sometime in November, Gematsu reported.
An exact date for the demo's arrival has not been revealed yet, but with the game coming out in Japan on Nov. 30, fans may be able to download the sneak preview closer to the start of the month.
For now, it remains unclear if a demo will also be made available to fans in the west, but with the game not due out in North America and Europe until early next year, there is still time for the developers to make that happen.
In "Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time," players will step into the shoes of Akko as she attempts to understand a mystery that is affecting the Luna Nova Magical Academy.
Joining Akko in the game are her friends Amanda, Constanze, Diana, Jasminka, Lotte and Sucy who will also be playable characters.
Two gameplay modes are also featured. The first one is Adventure Mode, and this allows players to see the different things happening inside the Academy from a third-person perspective. Side-scrolling Action mode will be featured whenever players are going through dungeons or taking on enemies.
While many elements players see in the game are ones also featured in the anime series, there are also some entirely new additions.
Players in Japan will be able to check out "Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" later this year, while those in other parts of the world can expect to hear more about it ahead of its early 2018 release.
