In their first meeting of the regular season, the Miami Heat travel to the Staples Center to face the Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association.
The match-up is on January 13, 2016 at 10:30 PM ET.
They are only scheduled to meet twice this year so expect both teams to try and get a big win over the other to help set the pace in their next clash later in the season.

At the moment, the Clippers are on an impressive run as they have improved their record to give them some space in the Pacific Division.
As holders of second place in the group, the Clippers find themselves still behind the Golden State Warriors in the standings, but have made a big gap between them and the three teams underneath. The Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers have a lot of ground to make up if they want to catch the Clippers as they seem to have found a new gear and are on an impressive run as of late.
On the other hand, the Heat are right in the thick of things in the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference as they are currently second.
They are only a game behind the leaders, the Atlanta Hawks, and have a slim lead over the Orlando Magic who are third. The Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets round out the group.
Miami are still one of the more dangerous teams in the East as they have championship experience with players like Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, and the youth to handle the fast-paced game like Justise Winslow and Goran Dragic.
Hassan Whiteside is also a big factor as he is a center who plays both ends of the floor well and it should be interesting how he is played against Los Angeles.
