Los Angeles Kings vs Calgary Flames Live Stream, Start Time: Watch Online NHL Hockey 2015
Battling for the final qualifying spot in the playoff race in the Pacific Division, the Calgary Flames host the defending champions Los Angeles Kings. The match is on April 9, 2015 at 9 p.m. ET.
As it stands, Calgary are third in the division and hold a two-point lead over the Kings. As for Los Angeles, they are also trying to claim the seat in the final Wild Card slot in the Western Conference.
However, with only two games remaining on their schedule, the Kings can still overtake the Flames as the third in the Pacific.
It will be tough, though, as the Flames have won back-to-back games and four of their last five in the league.
They shut-out the Edmonton Oilers 4-0 before beating the Arizona Coyotes at home and winning 3-2. With their final home game of the season, a big win over the Kings will help secure their place in the post-season.
After their game against the Kings, Calgary's last game will be a road match against the Winnipeg Jets.
Meanwhile, the Kings have lost their last two games, but have scored at least one point in three of their last four games.
They thrashed the Oilers 8-2 before dominating the Colorado Avalanche 3-1. Los Angeles failed to secure the extra point in the shootout loss to the Vancouver Canucks but still have a chance to make-up with their final games of the season.
After their match against the Flames, Los Angeles will then finish their regular season with a home game against the San Jose Sharks.
The two teams have met four times this season, with Calgary winning the first three matches before Los Angeles finally secured a victory in their last meeting. Two matches ended in overtime games, displaying the even strength of these two teams.
