Los Angeles Rams vs Washington Redskins Live Stream (Fox): Watch NFL Football 2017 Online
The Los Angeles Rams will host the Washington Redskins on Sunday in a big Week 2 game for both NFL teams. The game takes place from LA Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, and has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network, or online through live stream (details below).
The Rams were one of the standout teams in Week 1, smashing the Indianapolis Colts 46-9. Los Angeles were ruthless and clinical in their demolition of the Colts, and if they are in a similar form today then the Redskins could be in for a long afternoon.
The Rams won every quarter of last week's game, and scored freely, often as if the Colts defense were non-existent.
The Redskins meanwhile lost their opening game last week against the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field. Although they did put up some resistance, they fell apart when it mattered in the fourth, and overall their performance lacked inspiration and flair.
Barring a good second quarter, which the Redskins won 14-9, they were ineffective in offense, only managing a solitary field goal in all three other quarters of the game as they fell to a 30-17 loss.
Going into the fourth, there must have been high hopes they could claim the win. After losing the first quarter 0-7, the Redskins fought back to head into the final quarter just two points behind. With Washington being at home in front of a hopeful home crowd, quality teams would then go on to turn the screw and claim the win in the high-pressured final quarter. But this is a Redskins team that lacks quality and match-winners, and they lost the fourth 0-11, to immediately allow the Eagles to establish themselves in the NFC East, and leave the Redskins with the read possibility of opening the season 0-2 considering they go on the road to the LA Memorial Coliseum today against a team that scored nearly 50 points there last weekend.
Earlier this week, the Houston Texans went on the road to Ohio to play the Cincinnati Bengals on NFL Thursday Night Football. The Texans prevailed 13-9 in a low-scoring and close encounter.
Both teams had lost in Week 1 and so both were intent on avoiding falling to 0-2, however, it is the Bengals that find themselves the first team of the new season to drop to 0-2. The Texans meanwhile move to 1-1 and will look to push on from here.
In Week 1 the Bengals were trashed 20-0 by the Baltimore Ravens, and Andy Dalton was only able to average 5.5 yards per pass through the game, accumulating an horrendous 28.4 passer rating.
The Texans meanwhile suffered an embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, in what was a disastrous opening showing for the team. They gave up 10 sacks as well as 29 points, and were forced to bench Tom Savage for rookie Deshaun Watson midway through the game.
Watson struggled through his first ever start in the NFL, however, he did produce the only moment that really mattered in the game as he ran for a 49 yard touchdown after breaking free from the Bengals defense.
That proved to be the difference between the teams and was enough to get the Texans season kick-started with their first victory.
But on the evidence of Thursday's match up, both the Bengals and Texans look like they can have reasonable defenses, however, both will have to do something drastic about their offenses, as both looked far from NFL-level performances. If things do not improve quickly for both teams in that area then it could end up being a long season.
