'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' Erica Denies Using Knife in Brawl Against Shay

"Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" star Erica Dixon has confirmed that a violent brawl occurred between her and longtime rival Shay "Buckeey" Johnson, but the reality TV star denies that any weapons were used.

Various blogs claimed Thursday that Johnson attacked Dixon at a launch party for Vh1 co-star Karli Redd's hair weave line. Both women have spent years competing for the affection of rapper Lil' Scrappy, whose real name is Darryl Kevin Richardson II.

"They ran towards each other and started fighting. Shay was winning then Erica pulled something out and hit SHAY IN THE FACE," a source was quoted as telling MediaTakeoOut.com.

The entertainment site suggested Dixon had pulled out a knife and subsequently scarred Johnson's face, but an insider from the reality TV star's camp denied the single mom used a weapon.

"Ms. Dixon did defend herself as she was provoked but there were no such things as a blade or other materials that you may have heard involved," the representative allegedly told Rumorfix.com.

A MTO source also claimed Johnson's face was left covered in blood after the brawl and that the reality star was immediately rushed to hospital to receive treatment for her injuries.

"It was like a horror movie!" the unnamed source explained.

Johnson, who was left red faced in season one after being dumped by Lil' Scrappy for Dixon, took to social networking site Twitter to refute claims that she was injured in the brawl. The Vh1 star shared a current photo of her face which did not reveal any injuries.

"LETS SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT!! This is what im looking like 4/11/13! Apparently them PAWS need 2 go back in training!" Johnson tweeted April 11.

"4/11/13 With and with out make up!! REAL WOMEN DONT TALK ABOUT IT THEY BE ABOUT IT!! SEE YOU WHEN I SEE YOU!!" one seemingly threatening tweet read.

Dixon also reportedly addressed the brawl via her Instagram page. She appeared to gloat about allegedly injuring Johnson with her fists.

"WTH? I don't need any type of weapon, I got these hands!! #runupgetdoneup #pointblankperiod," Dixon wrote in response to the MTO story.
