'Love and Hip Hop' Erica Dixon Engagement Ring (PHOTOS)

Erica Dixon recently showed off what appears to be an engagement ring just two weeks after reports that Lil Scrappy had proposed began swirling.

The reality TV star was first seen sporting the white gold sparkler on her left hand on Sunday during a night out with Lil Scrappy, whose real name is Darryl Kevin Richardson II.

On Thursday, Dixon, Lil Scrappy's on-and-off girlfriend of 10 years, was spotted beaming with pride on another night out with friends while showing off her shiny new rock. Recent reports suggest that Lil Scrappy unexpectedly proposed during a taping of the "Love & Hip Hop" reunion show special.

Lil Scrappy reportedly proposed in the presence of his current girlfriend, Shay Johnson, who he had previously dumped Dixon to be with, according to Media Take Out.

"Scrappy was going on and on about how much he got along with [Shay] … then he switched it up, got on one knee and proposed to Erica. The audience was booing, and telling her NOT to accept. I swear it was like an episode of Jerry Springer," a source allegedly told MediaTakeOut.com.

"[Shay] looked like one of the girls on Maury who just found out she DIDN'T KNOW WHO HER BABYS FATHER was," the insider went on.

Dixon, who has a 7-year-old daughter with Li'l Scrappy, appears to have accepted his proposal despite recently insisting says that there is no hope for a rekindled romance.

"We have always been better friends. Even before we decided to be in a relationship we were the best of friends first. On a good note it is much healthier, because the back and forth drives me crazy," Dixon told Examiner.com.

"There was no growth, there was no maturity and growth period. If you are going to be with someone you have to grow together and if that's not possible then the relationship will not work. You both have to be willing to grow ... there's no future for me and Scrappy," she added.
