'Love And Hip Hop Hollywood Reunion': Hazel E Quotes Book of Isaiah After Confronting Berg, Masika
"Love And Hip Hop" star Hazel E recently opened up about her newfound fame after starring in season 1 of the hit VH1 reality TV show.
The rapper, whose drama-filled love life was played out on the show, revealed that she has finally moved on from troubled hip-hop artist Yung Berg. Although she was initially portrayed in a negative light on the show, she feels vindicated after having wrapped up the season particularly because the relationship between Berg and her co-star Masika Kalysha has come to light.
Hazel was able to overcome all of the drama and she is now in a relationship with comedian Katt Williams. She credits much of her newfound happiness to faith and she recently quoted the Book of Isaiah in explaining the source of her strength.
"When I see the drama happening post-filming, I feel that God has had my back through this whole process, and that 'No weapon formed against me shall prosper,'" Hazel told Sister to Sister magazine.
Masika began the show as Hazel's friend and confidant, but as the season progressed, viewers watched their friendship crumble. The aspiring model is now in a relationship with Berg and tensions reached new heights at the reunion show taping last month when the trio rehashed old wounds.
Hazel said despite their grievances, she is focused on her own life and all the blessings she has received since joining the show.
"Whatever is going on with those people, is what's going on with them, and I really ain't got nothing to do with it and good luck to them," Hazel explained. "If I'm winning right now, I feel like that was my blessing and favor for the things that I deserve."
Last month Masika and Berg made headlines following a deomestic dispute. The model was reportedly injured during an incident which led to Berg's arrest, however; they are still romantically involved.
The "Love And Hip Hop: Hollywood" reunion show airs Monday at 8 PM ET/PT on the VH1 network.
