'Love & Hip Hop' Star Yandy Celebrates Birthday Without Kimbella
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" star Yandy Smith recently shared on Instagram photos of herself as she celebrated her 35th birthday. She had her birthday celebration on March 19 with some family and friends. However, the photos showed that her best bud, Kimbella Vanderhee, had missed the bash.
In a video that Yandy posted, she is shown painting the town red with several of her friends. She captioned the video, "Last night broke my birthday in with family and friends. Round 2 going out with family and friends." Apparently, Kimbella wasn't included in the festivities.
The following day, Yandy thanked her party guests by sharing two photos of herself on Instagram. In her post, she thanked everyone who had left an encouraging word, greeted her a happy birthday, posted a picture with her and attended one of her best birthday parties ever. She said she felt so blessed to have family and friends like those who turned up.
While Yandy seemed to have enjoyed her party so much, some fans wondered if Kimbella's absence meant that the best friends were fighting on the day of Yandy's birthday celebration. Actually, they're not. Kimbella posted twice on Instagram to greet her best friend a happy birthday, and Yandy commented on both photos.
In one of the photos she posted, Yandy was swimming in a pool. In the other photo, both of them were together. She said in the caption that she and Yandy were like yin and yang, suggesting that they're inseparable because they complement each other.
It remains unknown why Kimbella missed Yandy's birthday celebration, but one thing is for sure— everything is fine between the two reality stars.
In other "Love & Hip Hop" news, former star Mendeecees, who got involved in an interstate drug ring, was recently denied a request for a shorter prison sentence. Back in February, Mendeecees requested if his eight-year sentence could be reduced to three years. However, a judge denied his request since prosecutors said his role in the ring was significant enough to warrant an eight-year sentence.
