"We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me. I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received," he continued, adding, "I will never forget her."

The Stones canceled their upcoming March 19 Perth concert, but it remains unclear as to whether they intend to cancel the entire tour.

"We regret to announce that The Rolling Stones concert in Perth will not be going ahead as scheduled for Wednesday 19 March 2014," a Facebook statement read.

Scott was the longtime girlfriend of the English rocker and the pair began dating in 2001.

Reports that her company LS Fashion LTD was experiencing financial woes have not been verified.

Scott was a leading designer and stylist to the stars whose celebrity clientele boasted the likes of First Lady Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz and Nicole Kidman.

She launched her line in 2006 and her work extended to the big screen, as she designed the costumes for films such as "Ocean's Thirteen" and "Eyes Wide Shut" to name a few.

In February, she announced the cancellation of her London Fashion Week show.

The exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
