Macbook Pro 2016 News: Improved Battery Life
The upcoming release of the Macbook Pro 2016 will surely bring many improvements to the Apple laptop.
While the new device is expected to resemble the previous model, there are some aspects that will be changed on the Macbook Pro 13.
One of the most notable features of the new Macbook Pro 13 is its lengthened battery life. It was revealed that the 13 inch variant of the model will run for 10 hours on a full charge. For the 15 inch variant, it will last up to 9 hours between charges. This is a significant improvement from the previously released model, as well as its competitors.
In addition, the two devices will allow for a 12 hour and 9 hour movie playback. Aside from the battery, the Macbook Pro 13 will utilize Intel's 6th-generation Skylake processors, which is expected to replace the previously used Broadwell chips.
It will also include two USB C Ports, as well as a built-in microphone. This will ease the use of Facetime and reduce unnecessary noise. The Macbook Pro 2016 is also going to include a stereo speaker as well as an improved retina display. The display will have a significant amount of pixels compared to HD TVs available.
It was also speculated that the screen will boast a 178 degree view, and will include a Hyper-Threading technology. This will let users multitask with the device. There are rumors that a new Apple patent will have the Macbook Pro 13 designed with a minimalist keyboard laptop. It will present a flat surface for users to type one, which is drastically different in comparison to the previous models of the Macbook Pro family. However, there has yet to be any confirmation regarding the matter.
As reported by The Big Bag, the new device will be available for the price of $1599 and $1999, depending on which variant. The Macbook Pro 2016 is expected to hit stores by this June.
