MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Delayed to Next Year
It's going to be a long wait until the arrival of the MacBook Pro 2016 as reports say that its release date has been pushed back. According to The Gospel Herald, there have been rumors circulating that suggests that the launch date of the Apple device has been moved to November of next year.
The device was initially expected to come around September or October along with the MacBook Air 2016. But as far as reports know, Apple has not made any move yet. Venture Capital Post stated that the reason for the delay of the two devices has something to do with the coming of the iPad Pro, which is slated to be unveiled next month. Meanwhile, Neurogadget reported that the release date was moved because Intel was not yet ready with the processors that will be incorporated into the MacBook Pro 2016. Some reports state that it will come earlier, around September or October 2016.
But as long as Apple has not made any announcements regarding the device yet, initial reports remain as rumors in the mill. The existence of MacBook Pro 2016 isn't even confirmed yet but there's a high possibility that MacBook Pro 2015 will have a successor. And if it does come around, it's expected that Apple will incorporate features from the current MacBook Pro 2015 into the rumored 2016 version.
Vine Report detailed that the current device comes with a 13.3-inch display at 227 pixels per inch. MacBook Pro may have another size variant which is a 15-inch display. Weighing 3.48 pounds, the computer comes with the fifth generation i5 dual core processor and contains two variants of RAM—8GB or 16GB.
Its operating system is the El Capitan and it boasts a Force Touch technology which is also expected to be present in the upcoming gadget. It has an internal storage of 128GB with leeway to expand up to 1 TB. The battery life is also designed to last longer. The MacBook Pro 2015 is presently sold for a price of $1299.
