Maci Bookout Tax Trouble: 'Teen Mom' Owes Nearly $80k in Taxes

"Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout is allegedly in trouble with the Internal Revenue Service and owes them a great deal of money. According to reports, Bookout has been spending her money living the good life and flying back and forth to be with her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, but now her bill has come due and she must find a way to make it right with the government.

"She's in denial," a source told In Touch Weekly. "She needs to find a way to pay back this money. She's gotten herself into a lot of trouble."

A copy of the Federal Tax Lien against Bookout was published by the website and shows that the IRS has not received any payment from Bookout since 2011 and the total amount due is $78,308.63. That's a great deal of money to have to pay back, and friends say that Bookout is completely ignoring the problem, which she got into by not having taxes taken out of her paychecks from MTV and keeping the cash she receives from promoting various companies.

"She's been telling people that she's working on paying it back, but very little progress has been made," a second source told the magazine. "Luckily, Taylor is planning to move to Tennessee to live with Maci very soon, which will be good because it will take some of the financial load off of her."

Bookout is the mother of 5-year-old son Bentley and is currently unemployed. She spends her time taking care of Bentley and taking college courses. Bookout could soon be re-employed by MTV if negotiations with other members of the cast of the original "Teen Mom" series go through. The network has wanted to get the original four girls together again, much to the delight of fans, but they apparently had one demand of their own – no Farrah Abraham, who they fear sets a bad example for young girls.

There has been no official news about the possible season, or if and when it will begin filming, but fas are waiting with bated breath.
