Mackenzie Douthit Delivering Baby Girl Today, 3 Weeks Early

"Teen Mom 3" star Mackenzie Douthit McKee and husband Josh McKee will welcome their second child, a daughter, sometime today. After a very rough pregnancy complicated by Mackenzie's type 1 diabetes, doctors made the decision to deliver her three weeks early.

Mackenzie has been in-and-out of the hospital throughout her pregnancy due to complications from diabetes. She was actually just in the hospital last month and made the announcement that she would be delivering her baby today via Twitter.

"Last day of being pregnant = a nice hot bath and Josh playing me some music," Mackenzie tweeted yesterday. She added a final "Last picture 37 weeks" before signing off in order to deliver her baby girl.

Fans have rallied around the reality star and offered their prayers for a "quick & healthy delivery," according to Polly Sander. Mackenzie's mother tweeted that she was grateful for all the prayers people were saying for her daughter and granddaughter.

The Douthit family is very religious and has spoken at length about putting their faith in God during the ups and downs of Mackenzie's pregnancy. She herself also shared that she and Josh went through a particularly rough patch in their marriage but came through it because they gave it all to God, which Mackenzie then encouraged her over 210,000 followers to do.

"God is awesome. And next time you wanna give up, give it all to God," she wrote.

The couple have been together for several years and welcomed son Gannon when they were only 16 years old. Their life was filmed for "Teen Mom 3" which gained a small following but not enough of an audience to convince MTV to film a second season of the series. The four girls on Mackenzie's season, though, have remained close and often tweet one another.
