'Madam Secretary' Season 3 Episode 18: Henry's Bomb Hunting Hits Pay Dirt
Henry (Tim Daly) will finally get some much-needed information about the location of the bomb in the upcoming episode of "Madam Secretary."
In the episode titled "Good Bones," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Henry will hit pay dirt and will stumble on the bomb's location. The doomsday cult has been taunting the U.S. government for a while now, warning of a huge explosion on American soil soon. Henry has taken the case as his life's mission, working hard to stop what he fears could be a terrible bloodshed. Last episode, he even got shot while trying to get away from an ambush. Terrorists have begun targeting him, and his family fears for his life.
Discovering the bomb's location should bring him and his team huge relief, but it will not. Henry and the others will find out, to their horror, that the cult has a bigger, more evil plan. There appears to be another calculated attack, more destructive than the first. Even though he is not physically fit due to his injuries, Henry will find himself racing against time to get all the information he needs to stop it from happening. He cannot afford to fail, as failing will likely mean the death of many innocent civilians.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth and her team will ask a famous Hollywood star to help them on a sensitive case. The State Department is currently in talks with the president of Kyrgyzstan. Elizabeth wants the world leader to consider their help in ending his country's problems with human trafficking. The promo shows Daisy (Patina Miller) and Jay (Sebastian Arcelus) talking to actress Ashley Whittaker (Julia Schlaepfer) and her mom, Jeri (Cady Huffman). They are offering her a chance to serve her country. When Elizabeth's team explains the project, Jeri immediately says "no," horrified that her daughter will be used as bait.
"Madam Secretary" season 3 episode 18 will air on Sunday, April 9, at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
