Madonna kicks off 'Rebel Heart' tour in Montreal, Canada
The "Rebel Heart" tour is Madonna's latest concert tour after her "MDNA" Tour in 2012. The tour kicked off last Sept. 9 in Montreal, Canada. The tour will have five legs, with 35 shows in North America, 25 in Europe, two in Asia, and eight in Oceania.
Followers of the 57-year-old singer are hoping that the Rebel Heart tour will be without a hitch. Each step leading to this concert has struck the music icon with bad luck. First, Madonna's Rebel Heart album was leaked by hackers, which forced the singer to have the album preorder before its supposed release. Madonna also fell during her performance at the Brit Awards earlier this year. The singer didn't end up hurt, and she thanks her good physique for that. "I attribute a lot of the fact that I came out all right because I'm in good shape," she said during her interview with the Associated Press.
Trouble seems to follow the singer since during the opening sequence of her concert at the Bell Centre, several panels of the projection did not switch on, creating a "black hole" in the center of Madonna's face. However, this didn't stop the Queen of Pop, as she continues to sing "Iconic." Die-hard fans of Madonna hope this will be the end of the entertainer's string of misfortune.
The Rebel Tour's set list is a compilation of Madonna's most famous hits in her 30-year career. It includes "Iconic," "Bitch I'm Madonna," "Burning Up," "Holy Water"/"Vogue," "Devil Pray," "Messiah," "Body Shop," "True Blue," "Deeper & Deeper," "Heartbreak City," "Love Don't Live Here Anymore," "Like A Virgin," "S.E.X.," "Living For Love," "La Isla Bonita," "Dress You Up"/"Into The Groove"/"Everybody"/"Lucky Star" Medley, "Who's That Girl?" "Rebel Heart," "Illuminati," "Music," "Candy Shop," "Material Girl," "La Vie en rose," "Unapologetic Bitch," and finally "Holiday."
The Rebel Tour will wrap up in Brisbane, Australia on March 27, 2016.
