'Magical Circle Guru Guru' Episode 13 Spoilers: Where Will the Second Cour Take Nike and Kukuri?

The first cour of the Japanese anime series "Magical Circle Guru Guru" has come to an end, and although Nike and Kukuri seem to have gained some very significant improvements in their skills and craft, the next big challenge for them is deciding where to go next.

In the previous episode, the combined forces of Nike's crew and the thieves managed to save Copahl Castle from the hands of the evil chancellor. And although the said villain was able to transform himself into a formidable monster by using the Banana Moon, Nike's most recent power up proved to be an even more powerful counterattack.

During an earlier scene that seems to have veered away from the ongoing narrative, Nike decided to train under Copahl Castle's royal chef, who turned out to be none other than the King of Fire himself. It was through this encounter that Nike eventually won the said elemental king's approval and thus gained the Razzle Dazzle Sword of Fire, which is the first of the four elemental swords he needs in order to defeat Giri.

The battle was ultimately won, and everyone decided to go their separate ways, with both Juju and Toma choosing to stay with the Dark Magic Society and Adamski, respectively. This left Nike and Kukuri with literally no idea where they should be going next. Although there is no doubt that no matter where their fate should lead them, they will always stay together no matter what.

What new adventures await Nike and Kukuri beyond the horizon? What new creatures will they encounter along the way? Will they be meeting new people and forming new alliances or will they instead be reacquainted with old friends down the road?

"Magical Circle Guru Guru" airs on Tuesdays late night at 1:35 a.m. JST on TV Tokyo. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
