Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis Dating? Maks Says That Meryl 'Has Become Very Important' in His Life
"Dancing With the Stars" Season 18 champions Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were seen at the premiere episode of DWTS season 19. Though the pair did not show off their winning moves on the dance floor, it is reported that both of them were there to support Chmerkovskiy's brother Val who is now paired with Janel Parrish for season 19.
It was rumored that Chmerkovskiy did not want to be there as he allegedly had a falling out with the "DWTS" producers over the judging stint that he thought he was going to get, which eventually went to Julianne Hough.
In the after show interview for "Dancing With the Stars," Val spilled the beans as to why his brother was there.

"Actually, he came because he knew Meryl would be there," said Val.
The Maksyl sighting, as their fans affectionately call them, fueled more speculations that the two could be dating. Though they have both denied the dating rumors, their cryptic answers to interviews hints at a possible romance.
In a recent issue of People, Chmerkovskiy talked about dancing with Davis and winning the Mirror Ball trophy.
"I was a dance pro on the show for about a decade, and I needed the trophy to show for it. But Meryl was a part of that," he said. "And while I am doing other things, Meryl is a close friend and has become very important in my life. We have new projects together."
While both Davis and Chmerkovskiy are keeping mum about the status of their relationship, Val may have provided more clues in an interview with Zap2it.
"He loves her probably more than I have ever seen him love another woman before. He adores her, but it is like a King Kong type of relationship," said Val. "He's so gentle with her because he wants to see her shine. He doesn't want to hurt her. It's a love that is bigger than a kiss or a label. He definitely loves her and I know that she loves him back."
