Juventus are currently the leaders of the group with six points after two games, while German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach are still without a point so far in the tournament.
City are trying to finally break through to the elite of the European scene.
They have already established themselves as a strong English club as they have won the English Premier League title, but they are now trying to make it alongside teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Unfortunately, they started this campaign on a losing note as they hosted Juventus in their opening game.
City were gifted a goal after an own goal by Giorgio Chiellini in the second half, but City were unable to hold on to that as they allowed two goals in the last 20 minutes of the game to eventually lose 2-0 to the Serie A giants.
Their next game was against Borussia Monchengladbach and they found themselves down 1-0 at a certain stage in the game.
Thankfully, Martin Demichelis and Sergio Aguero scored in the latter part of the game – with Aguero's penalty in the 90th minute to give City their first three points.
Meanwhile, Sevilla opened up with an impressive 3-0 win over Monchengladbach in their first match in the Champions League.
Penalty kicks from Kevin Gameiro and Ever Banega gave them a 2-0 lead before Yehven Konoplyanka finished things off with a 3-0 win.
Unfortunately, they could not replicate that win in their next match when they travelled to Torino to face Juventus as they dropped a 2-0 result.
This is a pivotal match between the two teams who are fighting for a spot in the knockout stages.
