Manchester City vs. Wigan Athletic Live Stream: Watch English Premier League Football Online
Defending Premier League champions Manchester City play host to Wigan Athletic on Wednesday in what is a league preview of the FA Cup final scheduled for May.
Both Wigan and City were able to capture victories at Wembley over the weekend and will clash at the Eithad Stadium Wednesday night.
But the FA Cup final will be the furthest thing on Wigan's mind as they fight relegation by traveling to face City who have recorded 10 clean sheets so far this season in a match that may produce few changes for Wigan.
Roberto Martinez's men have built themselves a reputation for staving off relegation in recent seasons by maintaining a spot in the top flight after teetering on the edge of relegation last year. They are currently three points below the drop zone this season.
Martinez's side may have the added comfort have having two games in hand, but the most important thing to consider going forward is the only points that count are the ones currently on the board.
Wigan has been playing well and have won three of their last five in the league. They have a history of late season surges when relegation is on the line.
For Roberto Mancini and Manchester City, the hopes of successfully defending their league title are all but over; they will strive for a second place finish and a spot in next year's CUEFA's Champions League.
City is currently 15 points off Manchester United's pace with seven games remaining and will look to add to their second place lead when Wigan comes to town. They will do good to be focused for this match given that Arsenal is only five points below City and have hit a recent run of good play.
Kick-off for the match is at 2:45 p.m. ET and can be watched online here.
