As a result, the team is currently fourth in the league but is still at par with the league's top team on points.

Moreover, it also started its UEFA Champions League campaign on the right foot as it beat Club Brugge in the first leg of their playoff battle.

Memphis Depay opened his United career with two spectacular goals and an assist in the European battle. He played a pivotal role in the victory and is now expected to carry the excellent form into the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Newcastle's struggles have continued as the team finds itself 15th in the league and has only one point in its first two league games of the season.

Its first match of the year ended in a 2-2 draw against Southampton, but its first away game was a 2-0 loss to Swansea City.

Early in the season, things are already unraveling for the Magpies and they should try to get things together or risk being involved in an early relegation battle instead of trying to break through the top half of the league.

Looking at their head-to-head matchup, things aren't looking too good for Newcastle as Manchester has beaten the team in their last three meetings.

The last time Newcastle beat the Red Devils was back in 2013.

Since then, the Old Trafford outfit has convincingly beaten its rivals with 4-0 and 3-1 scorelines.

For Newcastle, the players must be able to contain the attack of the Red Devils and try to keep the ball in the midfield and hope that they can get their counterattacks to catch Manchester off-guard.
