Manning Brothers Commercial – Peyton and Eli Make Rap Debut (VIDEO)
Football superstar brothers Peyton and Eli Manning are becoming increasingly famous in non-NFL activities such as "Saturday Night Live" and a slew of funny commercials. This time, they became rappers for DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket package.
The song, "Football on Your Phone," shows the rappers in a barber shop with crazy haircuts before a hip-hop beat drops and they begin rapping.
"Look at this guy using his phone as a phone / Your phone ain't for calling / Your phone's for footballing!" are just some of the silly lines the quarterbacks rap.
The video also features an appearance by their famous quarterback father, Archie, who is seen sitting on a gold throne.
The whole feel of the video looks like a rejected skit from SNL, which both brothers have guest starred on with Peyton having the more memorable and funnier performance.
Peyton plays for Denver Broncos. He entered the league in 1998 with the Indianapolis Colts and immediately made an impact with MVP performances season after season and bringing his team to the playoffs numerous times. However, he only won the Superbowl in 2004.
Eli entered the league with the New York Giants in 2004, and still plays for them. Although not as prolific a player as his brother, he manages to play well under pressure in the playoffs and won two Superbowls, 2007 and 2011.
