Manny Pacquiao next fight news 2015: To review tapes of Bradley-Rios, Crawford-Jean to decide on next opponent

Manny Pacquiao has added another prospect to his shortlist of next opponents.

Last week, Top Rank Promotions head honcho Bob Arum confirmed that the Filipino boxing icon was only picking between two names: that of former sparring partner Amir Khan and current WBO light welterweight champion Terence Crawford.

In a report by Boxingscene.com, Bob Arum now says that Pacquiao is also considering facing an old rival, current WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.

"Pacquiao will now review the tape of this fight [between Bradley and Rios], the tape of [Crawford's] fight, and he'll make a decision," the 83-year old promoter said. "I don't make the picks, not for Manny, because people would say I'm pulling the strings and he's a puppet, which he's not."

This past Saturday night, "Desert Storm" dominated fellow former Pacquiao opponent Brandon Rios, ending the fight in nine rounds. Rios also announced his retirement from boxing after the fight.

For his part, Pacquiao has been vocal about his plans to fight Khan, but has yet to mention either Crawford or Bradley. He does, however, see himself fighting Floyd Mayweather once again before retiring.

"It's possible -- very much. I would love to have a rematch if he wants it," Pacquiao said in an interview with CNN World Sport. Mayweather, who is currently retired, last fought in September, in an easy unanimous decision victory against two-time world welterweight champion Andre Berto.

But despite "Money May's" post-fight declaration and reiterations of retirement, Pacquiao is not convinced that Mayweather has indeed retired from boxing.

"Of course we hear from him many times that he has retired. It's not new for him."

Pacquiao's planned retirement fight date is on April 9th 2016, which he hopes to be held in his home country of the Philippines. His decision to retire was mainly to put his focus solely on public service. He will be running for a Senatorial seat at the 2016 Philippine elections, which will happen in May.
