'Married to Medicine' Cast News: Mariah Huq: 'I'm Not Sure I Would've Come Back'

While fans looked forward to Mariah Huq's epic return to "Married to Medicine," she says she doubts if she really came back because she wanted to or it was just the contract that required her to be on set.

Huq was portrayed in the previous season as an outcast as it seemed all of the women had personal issues against her, especially during the reunion when the ladies spoke up and it almost seemed as if they were all attacking her.

In an interview with The Jasmine Brand on Tuesday, she pointed out that she doesn't remember doing anything wrong against Jackie, Heavenly, and Simone. She did mention, though, that she admits to having had some bickers with Toya and Quad, who was once like her best friend but they fell out somewhere in the middle of all the drama.

When asked about how she felt about the reunion, she said she was surprised at how most of the special was edited, referring to how the rest of the cast shared their insights about her and her fallout with Quad.

Huq knows she has had her fair share of mistakes that led to the downfall of her friendship with Quad, but she also said it would definitely take time to mend the bond torn between them.

The co-producer of the hit Bravo series became more serious when asked if she regretted anything upon her return to season 3, which wrapped up some weeks ago. "I'm not sure I would've come back because I wasn't ready, I was doing what I had to do," adding that she was "mandated" to be on screen. In a firm tone, she said, "If I had to do it all over, I wouldn't have let them have the third season."

Before season 3 was aired, there have been rumors about her being an executive producer but without the authority to have a say as to what should be shown on screen. During the interview, she said "I don't have creative control," further explaining that while she had part of the show's ownership, she had no power to control the creative team.

Finally, in a sad and almost bitter statement, she said the production refused to show everything she was going through in terms of her health and all the truth behind her miscarriage and cancer scare.
