Marvel Kills The Hulk's Alter Ego Bruce Banner in 'Civil War II: The Fallen' Comic Series
Marvel's longtime superhero, Hulk is killed in the latest "Civil War II #3" comic series. Bruce Banner is Hulk's alter ego and has been medicating himself for his temper.
Hulk's Death
In Marvel's Civil War II comic event's latest issue, Hulk, who is a long time avenger, is killed in front of his fellow avengers Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) and other superheroes. An arrow was shot straight in between Hulk's eyes which caused his death. The shot came from fellow avenger, Hawkeye.

Hawkeye saw Banner about to turn Hulk and realized that this could cause massive destruction prompting him to make the shot. In fact, the arrow that he aimed at Hulk was a special arrow given to him by Banner for mercy killing in case of disaster.
This unexpected death happened a week after Marvel introduced a new Iron Man. Riri Williams is a 15-year old African-American girl who will become Iron Man in the comic series.
There are still more in store for this latest comic series. Though it may take a long time for the heroes to come to terms with Hulk's death and a huge scar will be left for all the superhero community.

Bruce Banner has been the Hulk since 1962. This was the time when creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby did the Gamma Bomb blast which turned the scientist into a modern Dr. Jekyll.
Recently, the new Hulk's alter-ego is a Korean-American named Amadeus. Other than the new Hulk, Thor is now a woman while Falcon, the black superhero is now fighting crime as Captain America. And of course, Riri Williams is the new Iron Man.
The writer of Civil War II, Brian Michael Bendis, noted that fans may be outraged by Hulk's death, but made sure that all events in this series are in character especially when fans know the reason behind.
At this point, readers may be asking a lot of questions about Hulk's fate because most of Marvel's superheroes come back after a death. There is always a miraculous recovery for each of the superheroes.
In fact, Captain America and Spider-man came back after a year after their deaths. Rival DC comics even resurrected Superman quickly.
As of now, for Bendis, this is the real deal. Hulk is dead. He also noted that he cannot speak about what may happen for the future. For now, he already have plans for Hulk's body in all the upcoming issues of the comic series.
