'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite' Rumors: Possible Pieces of Concept Art for Upcoming DLC Characters Surface Online
Pieces of concept art hint at how five of the six confirmed DLC characters may look in the game
"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" is out right now and available for fans to try, and there are still new additions coming to the fighting game before this year is over.
As announced previously by the developers, six downloadable content characters are slated to be released for the game later this year.
The upcoming DLC additions are Black Panther, Black Widow, Venom and Winter Soldier on the Marvel side with Monster Hunter and Sigma serving as Capcom's representatives.
Now, a possible leak may be hinting at how those DLC characters will be depicted inside the game.
Over on Reddit, "Futcharist" shared some examples of possible concept art featuring the DLC characters. The Redditor claimed that these images were taken from the PC version of "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite."
The first DLC character shown was Venom, and the images gave a pretty standard depiction of one of Spider-Man's greatest foes.
Next up were Winter Soldier and Black Widow, and as EventHubs pointed out, the images showed character models that looked a lot like how those two have been portrayed in live-action movies.
The Black Panther was next, and interestingly enough, this character was shown both wearing a cape and without it. Perhaps that was a hint that the Black Panther's cape will be a removable item in the game.
The last of the characters displayed was Sigma, and he too appeared to have a removable cape.
Notably, the character known as Monster Hunter was not among the ones featured in the images.
The good news for fans is that they have something better to see as a gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter has already been released and it showed off some of the moves that this character can pull off.
More news about the DLC additions coming to "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" should be made available in the near future.
