'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 3 news & spoilers: Inspiration for Quake's costume revealed

Marvel recently released a poster of Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) in the Quake costume, to bring closure to her character's past since the first season.

Ann Foley, who created the Agent Bobbi Morse and Deathlok's costume, designed Quake's battle gear. In her recent interview with Marvel News, the costume designer revealed her inspirations for the design. "I think one of the most important things was that the symbol be incorporated into her costume but especially onto the gauntlets. And it's also on the back of her suit, which was a fun little touch that we added," Foley said.

She also said that she wanted to stay true to the comics, so for the silhouette, she paid tribute to the original design. "I also wanted to incorporate the gold color that I have seen in some of the illustrations of her suit throughout the comics, which is why we have the gold lines that we see on the suit," she explained. Foley also said that the costume is almost the same as the costume that Skye wore in the last season.

Foley discussed that the changes were needed visually since it needs to fit the new twist that was revealed at the end of season 2. In the new story line, Daisy was tasked to locate and recruit other Inhumans, which will most likely lead to the "Secret Warriors" introduction.

In the upcoming season, which is entitled as "Laws of Nature," it was described to be action-packed, and fans will surely get hooked for another full season. According to International Business Times, the premiere episode this season will have Agent Coulson and his team discover a new Inhuman. The team comes face to face with another threat, which is another organization that also searches for extraordinary people. Fitz will also resort to taking all measures just to get Simmons back.
