'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 3 plot news: Trailer reveals an action-packed season
The trailer for the third season of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." revealed an action-packed plot.
Clark Gregg's character, Coulson, and his team will be facing new challenges that will lead them to organizing the Secret Warriors, as seen in the trailer. However, that is not the only detail featured in the promotional video. The third season's trailer showed Daisy in her new look. Chloe Bennet's character Skye was seen introducing herself as Daisy. It was seen that she has a new haircut, as well as a new outfit. She is seen wearing a black suit with unique sleeves that mimic the one seen on Quake in the comic book.
Fitz, played by Ian De Caestecker, was also seen in more action. The trailer revealed the character carrying a gun, before an unidentified individual puts a bag over his head. It can be assumed that he was on his way to find Simmons, played by Elizabeth Henstridge.
Mack, played by Henry Simmons, was seen telling Lincoln, played by Luke Mitchelle, that while the Inhumans told him that he should be afraid of Lincoln, he said that he is not. With that, Mack will be having trust issues during his stay with S.H.I.E.L.D.
The trailer also revealed a shadow of a large man with spikes. It was reported that it resembles Matthew Willig's character Lash, who is presumably Inhuman. While the trailer presented him as an evil entity, it is still unsure on which side he will be on.
The synopsis for the upcoming episode stated that there will be a formation of a new government agency, aside from S.H.I.E.L.D. It was reported that the agency will deal with matters concerning Inhumans, known as the Advanced Threat Containment Unit or ATCU.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return with its third season this Sept. 29.
