Marvel's 'Luke Cage' Netflix Premiere, Latest News and Updates: Simone Missick a.k.a. Misty Knight to Join 'The Defenders'?
Rumors have it that Simone Missick is just so good on her Misty Knight performance in the upcoming Netflix action and drama series that her character is out to steal the limelight from the main protagonist, Luke Cage. And now, Knight is also set to join another superhero TV series, "The Defenders".
The actress spilled the beans herself. "I believe I'm safe to say that I will be on The Defenders", Missick told Stuart Brazell of The Wrap. "Spoiler alert! If I lose my job because of this interview, sorry! I was supposed to be on The Defenders, until I got fired," the actress also quipped.
One thing she refused to give her confirmation, however, was whether the fans will get to see her signature bionic arm straight away. For those who do not know, Misty Knight got some needed help from no one else than the genius billionaire, Tony Stark, who also doubles as Avenger's Iron Man.
Mr. Stark had her fixed after she lost her arm in a New York explosion. Tony Stark gave her the bionic arm, while her love interest, Iron Fist, made some adjustment to add a weapon system in the arm.
