'Marvel's The Punisher' Teaser News: Frank Castle Manages To Escape His Captors And Warns Nemesis In Show's Latest Trailer

The search for Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) begins in the latest teaser for Netflix's upcoming superhero crime drama "Marvel's The Punisher."

The entertainment streaming service provider released a brief clip showing Castle, also known as The Punisher, being hunted by a group of armed soldiers in the woods.

But it seems like the antihero can easily take down all his enemies one by one with just the use of a knife. Yet it also appears that they are not exactly his target, since he looked straight into one of the soldier's camera to give a warning to a specific person, saying, "I'm coming for you." However, he did not specify who that person is.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bernthal explained that "Marvel's The Punisher" could be considered as the most violent show that was ever produced by Marvel TV.

"The show takes you on this journey of Frank becoming more and more human again and then shutting off and shutting off and going back to what works for him, and the place where he kind of belongs, and I think that's a place of solitude and of darkness and destruction," the actor stated.

He also shared that the series will bring the audience to a dark and ruthless place that Marvel could ever feature.

Bernthal's character was first introduced in the second season of "Marvel's Daredevil." He is described as a vigilante who plans to get rid of Hell's Kitchen's criminals in every way that he can.

The series will also star Ben Barnes as Castle's best friend Billy Russo, Ebon Moss-Bachrack as Castle's assistant David Lieverman/Micro, Amber Rose Revah as the Department of Homeland Security agent Dinah Madani, Michael Nathanson as Madani's partner Sam Stein, and Shohreh Aghdashloo as Madani's mother Farah Madani.

Rob Morgan is also reported to join the cast in a recurrent role as Turk Barrett, the low-level criminal whose turf includes the Harlem and Hell's Kitchen.

Netflix is expected to release the episodes of "Marvel's The Punisher" sometime in late 2017.
