'Mass Effect 4: Andromeda' update: New characters and adventures coming up
The manager of "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" shared a few details about the game's new characters and the new adventures that players will go through.
The main advantage of Mass Effect 4: Andromeda lies in the relationship between the game's characters, manager Aaryn Flynn and creative director Mac Walters revealed. The two executives also released a statement saying the new game will feature a lot of different characters, according to Yibada.
"It is only fair to assume that it is the distinct feature of Bioware and the Mass Effect franchise so we will stick with that," Yibada quotes Walters' statement to Arstechnica. "This will have a new set of characters and great adventures because that is how we will tell the character's great story and their amazing journey."
On March 20, Mass Effect 4: Andromeda senior development director Chris Wynn posted on Twitter that the game has "powerful" hardware, weapons, and bioethics.
Like in the previous Mass Effect franchises, the main character of Mass Effect 4: Andromeda will still control his own ship, which is named the "Tempest." The ship will house seven people who each has their own loyalty missions, the report details.
There will, however, be a few changes in the game. Bioware is taking a different turn by not allowing the main character Commander Shepard to return to Mass Effect 4: Andromeda. While the reaction of the fans to this change is still unknown, Bioware said the players themselves were the ones who asked for the game to have new maps and characters, CrossMap reports.
One thing that will surely delight players is that they will be able to fully customize the main character for Mass Effect 4: Andromeda. Bioware also made Mako, which is believed to be the main transportation in the game, customizable to make the gamers "feel at home," the report relays.
Mass Effect 4: Andromeda will be made available next year for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. While previous reports said it will be released in 2020, Bioware confirmed that it will be out in 2016.
