'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Latest News: BioWare Unveils Launch Trailer

With only a few days left until the video game's release, BioWare has released the launch trailer for its upcoming space epic video game "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

The game's launch trailer depicts the game's main plot — humanity's desperate search for new homes. Gaming fans are also shown a glimpse of some of the worlds in the Andromeda Galaxy, as well as the video game's new ship, the Tempest.

While the song "Human" by British singer Rag'n'Bone Man plays in the background, the video highlights humanity's cooperation and conflicts with Andromeda's different species.

"The entire Initiative is at risk," a character is heard explaining in the trailer. "None of the Golden Worlds panned out."

"We need to find more resources," the voice continues. "But that takes people, and we can't wake them up."

Based on the recently released trailer, it looks like the Initiative has not found the Andromeda Galaxy to be as hospitable as they hoped it would be. The Initiative is also faced with the problem of needing more manpower to gather resources. However, they are unable to wake up thousands of colonists in cryosleep until they find a suitable planetary base to do so.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" continues the story beyond the original "Shepard Trilogy," featuring improvements and changes to all of the mechanics the original series was known for. In this upcoming "Mass Effect" game, gamers are tasked with the mission of finding a new home for mankind as well as its allied species as they enter the unknown and dangerous territory of the Andromeda Galaxy.

According to a report by GameRant, players will be able to explore more than 100 planets in their search for a new home for humanity. While fulfilling this mission, the Pathfinder will be facing an opposing force in the Kett, which has been highlighted by BioWare to be a very large threat to the protagonists of the video game.

"Andromeda" also includes mature themes and romantic elements between its characters, which are features most BioWare video games are known to contain.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set for launch on March 21 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
