'Mass Effect: Andromeda' News: Day One Patch Expected To Be Released, Learn More About What It Will Do for the Game

'Mass Effect: Andromeda' expected to be released on March 21

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is finally on its way to excited fans, and a day one patch could be arriving along with it.

In a series of tweets, lead designer Ian S. Frazier detailed their day one plans for the new science fiction role-playing game. According to Frazier, the developers are already working on this patch.

As of now, it's expected that this patch will feature quite a few items, including some bug fixes, balance tweaks as well as additional refinements for things already in the game.

Frazier added that this day one patch is still in development because some of its contents still need to be certified, but the plan is to apparently make this downloadable available even to early access players.

There's no word yet on how large this day one patch will be, so fans will have to watch out for that.

While many fans are already starting to prepare for their initial "Mass Effect: Andromeda" playthroughs, they should know that the endgame of this RPG will still provide plenty of things for them to do.

Speaking recently to PC Gamer, Frazier confirmed that there are only a few quests that will become inaccessible once players complete the game main's story. That means that players will still be able to tackle the majority of the missions that the game will offer even after they have unraveled the main narrative at the heart of "Andromeda."

This feature should allow players to just enjoy the main story as they are going through it, without having to constantly worry that they may be missing out on some important missions.

One more thing worth noting about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is that it just went gold recently, so fans can look forward to playing it for the first time as soon as it is officially released on March 21.
