'MasterChef' season 6 winner predictions: Who will win the title, Derrick, Stephen, or Claudia?
The finale of "MasterChef" will air this Wednesday, Sept. 16, and as the show comes to a close, one cannot help but predict who will win the coveted title. Claudia, Derrick, and Stephen are the top contestants but only two of them will battle it out for the title.
Based on the entire season so far, the final two will most likely be Derrick and Stephen since they are clearly the best of the bunch. Claudia, however, could sneak in if she literally pulls out all the stops and does something amazing. The thing about Claudia is that she sometimes doubts herself and does not trust her instincts, which could lead to her downfall.
If Derrick and Stephen are the final two, then the final showdown will be epic as the rivalry between the two amps up. They are both tough competitors and they have a mutual respect for each other. These two surprisingly work well together, despite the animosity toward each other.

Now, if the final two were Derrick and Claudia or Stephen and Claudia, then that would be a different story altogether since both guys are much stronger cooks than she is. And the finale will not be as interesting at all.
Let's break down the top 3 in terms of how well they have done over the course of the season. Ladies first, Claudia is the Mexcian mother who was the first contestant to receive a white apron. She received praises for her dishes and she mostly rode in the middle of the pack. She has done her fair share of pressure tests. She has won one mystery box, so far.
Derrick is the rock star drummer who is really good looking but very cocky. He received a white apron in the first challenge. He has been in the top 3 during mystery box challenges multiple times and he also has had his fair share of pressure tests. He is often considered the pressure test king since he has survived. He has won one mystery box and he had a lot of rivals during the competition.
Stephen is the father who is so over the top that he is often compared to Leslie of last season. He got in through the wild card cook off. He is eccentric and is often seen screaming alongside Gordon himself. He also gets a lot of praise and he has had the least amount of pressure tests. He is just as cocky as Derrick if not more so. He has won two mystery boxes and has won more team challenges.
At this point, it's anyone's game and it all depends on the next challenge. This season will have an interesting finale.
