'Masters of Sex' season 3 finale spoilers and episode 11 recap: Will Bill lose everything?

In the season 3 finale of "Masters of Sex" entitled "Full Ten Count," the synopsis reads, season 3 ends with Masters and Johnson discovering that all their hard work is now in jeopardy.

In the preview for the episode, it seems that Bill is about to lose everything he has been working for. His wife Libby is fed up and tired and she had given up a great deal for him. He could also lose Virginia for good since Dan has confessed his feelings for her. This makes things uncomfortable for her and Bill and she ponders the future of the study.

The preceding episode began with Bill and Ginny as they arrived at an upscale restaurant for a supposedly celebratory dinner after they secured a hearty advance from Little Brown for their second book. Ginny was annoyed because Bill had hijacked the presentation and added a chapter on the surrogacy program. Ginny got even more annoyed when she learned that Bill tried to reserve a table for four and that he had invited Dan and his wife.

As it turned out, Bill had no reservation at the restaurant and he was saved by Dan. The two couples were escorted to a small table. Alice, Dan's wife, drank the wine that Bill kept on pouring. Dinner was awkward since Bill and Ginny started to fight, which was followed by Dan and Alice. Dan's marriage to Alice ended, while Bill and Ginny fought in the coat closet.

In the meantime, Libby was contemplating leaving Bill for good. She had been much happier with Paul. A police officer showed up at the Masters house and the officer was asking about some comment made on the school playground when Bill explained to the school bully what wet dreams were. The whole thing was a great misunderstanding, but Paul wanted Libby to leave Bill and take the kids.

The finale of "Masters of Sex" will air this Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015.
