"After the ceremony, wedding guests stayed in dozens of tents McConaughey pitched on his sprawling property for the occasion," People reported. The actor has referred to Alves as the "love of his life."

"We've been living a married life for over six years now," Alves said in a recent interview, according to Mail Online. "We have homes together, we have family together, we have kids, we've built a life together. So, we've been living a married life this whole time."

Guests slept in "state of the art" tents prior to the ceremony in which Alves opted to take on the McConaughey surname.

Some users however, questioned how well certain celebrities could be kept in outdoor tents.

"Lovely news - better late than never! I'm not entirely sure - if I'd have been a guest - what I'd have made of the tents as, looking at the size of the house, I would have thought the guests would have fitted in there nicely. But at least they were "luxury" tents!" Stella wrote on the Mail Online blog.
