The Mega Millions numbers last July 12 were: 6, 8, 22, 46, 68. The golden ball and the megaplier was both 4. No one was able to nab the jackpot prize but there was one who matched all five white balls and became $1 million richer. The ticket was purchased in Washington.
July 12 Mega Millions Winner Named
Marcus Gonzales of Sharon is $1 million richer after matching five white balls in the Mega Millions drawing last July 12. Gonzales apparently bought his ticket at the Cumberland Farms on South Main Street, Boston Globe reported.
Gonzales already cashed in his winnings from the Massachusetts State Lottery's branch in Braintree. According to the outlet, the $1 million Mega Millions winner plans to save his winnings to create a college fund for his children.
Mega Millions drawings are done twice every week, on Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m., according to the official website. The drawings are done at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Each ticket costs $1 and 44 states in the US have a chance of winning the prizes for the lottery. The odds of winning the jackpot prize are 1 in 259 million.
