Meghan Markle Diet and Workout Details: How the Actress Stays in Great Shape

Between her "Suits" role and her relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has plenty of motivation to look great and stay in shape. How does she manage to keep her impeccable figure with her tight schedule?

It's the same routine that Markle is sticking to, whether it's preparing for her role as Rachel Zane, or in preparation for her wedding with Prince Harry, which could come as early as spring next year. As Hello Magazine figured out, these habits of hers mostly include clean eating, exercise, and sparing use of cosmetics

Markle always looks ready for anything, be it a turn as the sharp "Suits" lawyer or marrying into British royalty. It all starts with her fit shape, and at 5 feet 7 inches tall, it's all about training her flexibility, according to the actress.

"Yoga is my thing," Markle said, adding how her routine does a lot for her.

"There are so many benefits that come with the practice of yoga... increased flexibility and muscle strength, greater happiness, increased mental focus, a greater ability to relax, decreased anxiety and better sleep," the 36-year-old actress shared.

She also takes care that she only eats what is good for her, whenever possible. "I just try to avoid the things that I know are going to make me feel lethargic or sluggish. I eat mostly just fish and veggies – but I am also a foodie," she said.

It doesn't hurt that the actress actually has a knack for cooking. Markle is good enough with the oven that she can turn out an impressive roast dinner. "It's a game changer. I bring that to dinner parties and make a lot of friends," she shared in an earlier interview with Good Housekeeping UK.

Even her beauty routine mostly revolves around the basics, as her make-up artist Min Min Ma revealed in an earlier interview. The actress prefers to show off her natural freckles through minimal make-up, finished with a nourishing cream for a "glowy" effect.
