Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Samantha Grant Gets Criticized For Making Money Off Famous Sibling

Meghan Markle's half-sister is coming out with a book about her family. Samantha Grant's memoir will be called "The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister" but she's getting criticisms for cashing in on the popularity of her famous sibling.

Grant spoke with the hosts of "Good Morning Britain" from her home in Florida about her upcoming book. She described its a content as an "interracial evolution" and not a tell-all about Markle, as earlier assumed in the tabloids.

"Well, it is true that I'm writing a book and the title is accurate," she confirmed. "What is not true [is] this unbelievable swell that's been created that it's some sort of slamming 'tell-all.'"

Viewers of the show, however, reacted on social media and called Grant a money-grabber for riding on her sister's fame. Some questioned why she would come out with a book now when she and Markle haven't spoken for years.

Grant, whom Markle shares the same father, confirmed in 2016 that she and Prince Harry's girlfriend are estranged. She also called her half-sister a self-obsessed social climber and warned the royal family of the appalling things Markle allegedly did to her family.

Today, however, Grant seemed to have changed tunes. She now described her sister as "lovely, charming, and very lively," while speaking with the hosts of "Good Morning Britain." She also denied saying anything against her sister in the tabloids in the previous year.

Meanwhile, Markle is reportedly moving to London in November and quitting her show "Suits" after the current season wraps filming.

"I am told that she will be moving into Kensington Palace," royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. "She already keeps a wardrobe of clothes at Harry's house over in Kensington Palace and she's going to be spending all of her time over here from now on."

Markle and Prince Harry could likely marry around June next year and their engagement will be made public soon.
